[Kaede's window-shopping when she gets the familiar bzzt-bzzt vibration in her ear she's set for when Shuichi is texting her. One hand to her earring to check the message, and her eyes light up at the first part. She's already composing a mental Yeah, let's!! when the second half pops into view, and she pauses mid-step. A native almost walks into her, and she just distractedly bows an apology as she ducks against a wall to get out of the way.
Moving in with Shuichi is a big step, to be sure. On the surface, having Kokichi move in too makes it less of a romantic, next-step-in-their-relationship kind of thing, and more of a friendship thing. Or a money-saving trick, or something other than just moving in to be closer to her boyfriend.
But if Shuichi was worried about giving up his privacy with just Kaede, he should be even more worried if Kokichi is going to be there, too. She's thought about that too, since then, and had almost been relieved that Shuichi hadn't brought it up immediately. Because if they're going to be supporting Kokichi, then that means they have to do, um, stuff in the same space where Kokichi will be living, and that seems kind of awkward?]
