You're like "it's embarrassing!" but then talk about how you performed in front of all these special people You're a celebrity and you never even mentioned it, Kaede, of course I'll praise you!
I don't really get that though, but I kind of do? My girlfriend's an artist So she talked about putting herself into her work and using it to understand things, but hers was just for her, you know? It sounds pretty amazing to be able to do that, but for a lot of people
Aaaaawww!! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ Most people our age aren't really interested in classical music, so I'm just not used to it! So.... I guess I should say thank you! ♪٩(✿′ᗜ‵✿)۶♪

That's really cool though! I guess artists kind of have similar feelings, even if we're working in different forms, huh? I kind of understand that, but maybe a little more for when I'm playing violin. I love playing piano for myself, but playing for an audience is super rewarding if I can see their smiles. But with the violin, that's really just for me! I don't have any formal instruction, so it's like... I can interpret a piece however I want, and I don't have to worry about it being "right" or whatever. (I still like playing the piano more tho lol (*≧艸≦) )
Ummmmm.... kind of! It's more like... Not to sound really arrogant or anything, but I know if I play the way I usually will, most people will really enjoy my piano performances. And I want people to see my best work!
But violin is like...... idk Playing the piano is ME, it's my talent, it's something I've been doing all my life But the only reason I can play the songs I can on the violin is literally because of magic. Bards have a skill called Prodigy, which like... kind of makes it really easy to learn new things. That's how violin was for me!
So idk. I like playing violin, it's really fun to play a new instrument I can actually carry around, but it doesn't feel like it's as big a part of me as the piano is.
Haha maybe it's just because a piano is a bigger instrument. Get it? (^。^*)♪~
No, that makes sense! It's more of a hobby than something you put your identity into You have so much tied with piano, that it's impossible to disentangle it from those feelings, for better or worse
Honestly, I've never really had anything like that Like, something that's so much who you are that you know you're going to do forever So, that's incredibly amazing to think about
Hmmm... you really think so? Maybe you just haven't found your passion yet!
Oh, or think about it this way! I spent my whole life honing one talent that doesn't really help us a lot on missions... So maybe you're the one who's better equipped to save the world, cause you don't have just ~one~ thing to specialize in. I think that's pretty amazing all on its own!
I mean that's implying I've got a lot of little talents you know? I'm not trying to be self-deprecating, I just think a lot of people here are a lot better equipped for this kind of thing
