...Are they really delinquents, though? Sakamoto-kun seems like a punk, yeah, but Kurusu-kun looks too quiet for that.
[The irony of Goro Akechi, Murderer Detective, describing them like that, isn't lost on her. But to be fair, she doesn't know anything about their group aside from what he's told her, which is to say: they're heroes.]
Oh, that's a really good idea! I'd like that a lot. That might be a little big for just one room, though... Maybe after we have our first mission, I can try to organize something? Like a celebration! I've never set something up for that many people before, though... or for anyone at all, really. I mean, I've hung out with friends before, obviously, but... mostly I spent my time playing piano, you know? Especially once I entered high school, I really had to focus hard on improving my skills as much as I could. So I didn't have as much time to hang out with people as much as I'd have liked to.
[The lack of emoji and the pauses between texts is a hint that she's actually thinking seriously about this, instead of just blurting out whatever comes to mind.]
I'll have to think about what we could all do together!
Aha, he's quiet often, yes. That's certainly part of his nature. But don't let his shy wallflower exterior fool you. I've never met a more passionate, unruly and confident rogue.
[But he's glad to see her thinking over his idea seriously. It sounds like something she would really enjoy. He had kind of figured her piano career had come first.]
I think that sounds perfect as a celebration. If you need any help with organizing, I'm good at that at least. But I'm probably not the best to ask for ideas for activities. Still, there are enough of us that the others might have an idea, too. Maybe we can fish for ideas from the others during the mission. I assume we'll have some downtime at least.
Hmmmm.... I'll believe it when I see it, I guess!!
Asking the others is definitely the best course of action, I think! That way we can make sure everybody feels included. I wouldn't want it to be, like, something *I* was setting up, but something we could all have fun doing together.
I'll definitely be counting on you if there's anything that needs to be organized! If you and I work together, I know it'll be perfectly composed like Chopin's ballades!
Haha, you really are so considerate. Most people would want to take all of the credit for setting it up. But it's not a bad thing at all. Though, ah... I admit that makes me a bit flustered to be compared to Chopin. I think Camille Saint-Saens would be more appropriate. Oh, sure, he was a technical genius and everyone loves Danse Macabre and maybe a couple of others. But no one really would be able to listen to a whole performance without getting bored. Besides he was a greedy hack in the long-run. Er. That isn't me insulting myself. That was me insulting Camille Saint-Saens. I'm just saying Chopin is overrating my organizational skills.
Oh, don't worry, Akechi-kun, I wasn't comparing you to Chopin!!
[The immediate rebuttal maybe conveys how blunt it is? Hopefully the rest makes it seem less rude.]
Neither of us really could be! I mean, we're just ourselves, right? But if we work hard together, we can definitely achieve something that's greater than all of us, don't you think?
So I wouldn't compare you to anybody else. Akechi-kun is Akechi-kun, after all!
