She's the Super High School Level Aikido Master... she's really cool! Oh, but she only likes girls. She didn't have any patience for boys at all. I'm pretty sure she even called Saihara-kun a "degenerate male." But... even though she was scared during the killing game, she really wanted to protect all of us. Or, well, the girls anyway.
[She opens her eyes and huffs a laugh through her nose, shaking her head.]
You know, it's kind of weird, but... I'd never met so many unique people before I was involved in... in all of that. I only knew everyone for a few days, but I don't think I'll ever forget them.
[Nonsense! She's kind and sympathetic (to girls), easily annoyed (by boys), and brave and independent all on her own!
She hums softly, closing her eyes again.]
There were fifteen other students, all Super High School Levels. It's weird, 'cause meeting another Super High School Level is pretty rare! There's not that many of us in the whole country, after all. I felt pretty normal around all of them, to tell you the truth.
But... Saihara-kun is definitely the person I spent most of my time with. I thought you were him at first. [She smiles with a sad fondness, looking down at her hands.] I think the two of you would have been friends.
Mmhm. [She tugs on her bangs as if to emphasize the resemblance.] You both have the same hairstyle... oh, but Saihara-kun always wears a hat. [She mimes putting a baseball cap on, because apparently, describing people goes along with charades?] He's... really kind and soft-spoken, but full of determination!
Like I said before, I only knew everyone for a few days but... I miss him and everyone else so much. Like Amami-kun, the boy I... the boy I murdered. He did my nails for me.
[She extends her hands. Her nails are short and neatly-clipped, but there's no polish on them right now.]
Long nails would get in the way of playing piano, so I never really thought about painting them... but Amami-kun and another girl, Shirogane-san, they both worked together to make them super pretty. I... haven't had the heart to ask anyone to do them for me again after that.
[ If she enjoyed having her nails painted, she shouldn't feel the need to bar herself from it. Especially since they introduced her to it. They both wanted her to enjoy it enough to get it done for herself, right? Probably. He doesn't know them, but that's the sort of thing friends or nice people would do. ]
You know... it's kind of funny you say that doing something fun would be like... doing it in their memory. When I first got here, Sakamoto-kun and I carved our friends' names in one of the trees in the Quad. I've been trying to compose songs for everyone who's... who's not with us, too.
